CHRISTMAS 2024
Enjoy 3 festive courses with the option to go extra with a cocktail included for everyone.
The Cheltenham festival commences on Tuesday 15th March for 4 days of competitive horse racing action, coined the jump racing event of the year!
To ensure you don’t miss a thing (28 races that is!), we recommend a stay, slap bang in the middle of the action in the regency town of Cheltenham itself. Home to our beautiful Brewery Quarter venue.
We’ve done the hard work for you and have chosen our top 3 hotels, perfect for a week of betting (responsibly), drinking (responsibly) and partying (responsibly!). Plus, our choice of a race day brunch in Cheltenham, the ideal way to start the day right. Here’s the low down:
Now this is pure luxury. The choice for the lavish go-getter. This 5-star manor is literally connected to the racecourse through a private road. The staff can even arrange you a car and driver, so you arrive in nothing but style. If you fancy a day off from the race action, the manor can also provide games of polo or fishing… This really is a taste of the high life. So, might make a big dent in that betting budget, but what an experience it would be.
Ellenborough Park, Southam Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL52 3NJ
The Queen herself only stays here during the festival. How’s that for a trip advisor review? This iconic building is found at the end of the famous promenade alongside Montpellier Park. The hotel boasts large comfortable tooms to a royal standard. If feeling brave, the racecourse is approx. a 35-minute walk from the venue. Maybe not the best if wearing heels, but means the taxi ride is short and picturesque. We doubt the Queen gets her walking boots on. A great location and guaranteed comfort in the centre of all the action.

Now, this is a favourite of ours and kinder to the bank balance. Has more of a boutique B&B feel to it with rooms adorning bold statement prints and mismatched textures. A beautiful Georgian townhouse within a 15-minute walk from the racecourse. The beautiful Pitville Park is only down the road – perfect for blowing the cobwebs away the morning after The Gold Cup finale! It might also be a favourite of ours, as it’s the closest to The Alchemist. How convenient for brunch before or celebratory drinks late into the evening. We’ll start chilling the prosecco now.
No.38 The Park, Evesham Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL52 2AH
We’re serving brunch 9am – 2pm all week and have a special deal for our race go-getters. Bag a cocktail and any brunch dish for £18. Choose from either the Lightbulb Moment, Bubblebath, or Rhubarb & Custard Fizz. If you’re feeling extra lavish, sip a glass of Moët champagne instead for £20.
Fuel up with a Chorizo Hash, Eggs Benedict or go big with a Full English.
Combine this glorious food with a creative cocktail and you’re flying down the home stretch.
Will you be joining us for Champion Day, Ladies Day, St Patrick’s Thursday or the Gold Cup Day? Perhaps all four. Find out more here about our Cheltenham Race Day brunch deal.
Whatever your results on the day, you’ve already nailed a great stay & brunch plans! What more do you need? Get your betting group together and get this flutter booked in!
