We’re celebrating women throughout the whole month in honour of International Women’s Day on the 8th of March.

We’re the biggest believers that when women support each other incredible things happen and that’s why our Media City Head Bartender, Holly Tudor, created a cocktail especially for Women’s Month to support Rosa…

“My cocktail is inspired by Ada Coleman who was a badass female bartender and the only female Head Bartender of the Savoy since it opened for 23 years! At home she regularly hosted parties for theatre people full of dancing, music and laughter which I think matches The Alchemist perfectly!
I’ve named it the ‘Coley’s Cure’ and is a twist on her most famous cocktail the ‘Hanky Panky’.
Its rhubarb gin, red vermouth and gomme, heated in a pan and poured into a medicine bottle with dry ice. Served with a 1ml syringe of gold Fernet elixir (Fernet Branca gomme)!

The name comes from Ada’s nickname (Coley) and the story behind the Hanky Panky being a pick me up for an overworked actor. Fernet Branca was also originally created as a stomach medicine back in 1845 which ties in quite nicely to the name.”

We will be donating £1.00 for every Coley’s Cure sold to the Rosa foundation.

Women aren’t short of ideas to help create positive change in their lives, but they are often short of the funding needed to turn those ideas into reality. That’s why Rosa was launched in 2008 following ten years of research and consultations which established a critical need for a UK-wide fund to mobilise resources for women’s rights and equality
